City of Black Creek Edit
This quiet, unassuming city is home to little more than 1,500 people. The simple population of mainly fishermen and farmers spend most days working the river and fertile lands nearby.
Every year, before the great harvest, the town holds a celebration of growth and life. The staple of this celebration involves every towns person gathering their gold and valuables (about 5-10% of their annual income), and throwing them into the well in the spirit of good fortune, health, life, and growth. This ancient tradition has been celebrated for hundreds, if not thousands, of years.
Unbeknownst to the people, an ancient dragon resides deep within a cave located in the surrounding forest. The ancient Blue Dragon, Silregos, quietly guards his massive hoard and bathes in gold and jewels. He patiently waits as year after year, decade after decade, century after century, the riches from The Great Harvest Festival are washed from the well in town, through watery tunnels underground, and into the lair of Silregos.
Silregos and the town contently live out their lives, without confrontation... for now.
