Logard Plains

The Logard Plains, referred to as Velger's Hunting Ground as a warning for intrepid or ignorant travelers that would brave the land, is a beautiful stretch of open field and rolling hills that at a glance seem like a perfectly peaceful location bereft of any dangers.

Roaming herds of bison-like creatures called Visund by the tribes of the Ragnaro mountain thrive in this area. While they do not defend territory like some other animals do, they will not hesitate to defend their young from any threat that gets too close.

There are no great ruins and landmarks either man made or natural within the Logard Plains, however those with keen eyes would soon find traces of ancient battles and the destroyed camps of the Ragnaro Mountain tribes people eroded away by time.

The reason that the Visund thrive without being hunted by man is the same reason that the Logard Plains are peppered with the remains of camps and the scars of battle since ages past; the great eagle, Raesvelger, more commonly known as Velger, which gives the area its name and keeps out those that would encroach upon the plains.
